Season 9 is well underway with two weeks of content coming to a close next week. Let’s take a look at some of the best concepts from the community for this week!
Fortnite content creators and artists are amazingly talented at their hobbies and work. We often feature some of the best concepts on our website in the hopes that more people will get to see them.
The most notable ones that catch our eye during the week are put into an article such as this. Let’s take a tour of the some best concepts from the Fortnite community!
Feel free to send us concepts and art via our Twitter @FortniteINTEL. Our DMs are open and you can slide right in.
Quality EndGame LTM Fan Cinematic
The EndGame event was a mixed bag of success and failure for Epic. While many players loved the chaotic and hyper-casual nature of the game mode, Marvel fans were disappointed by the tie-ins.
The gripes began with the opening cinematic which didn’t inspire that rising feel of heroism that Marvel openings do.
Reddit user u/Sockfor1 decided to show Epic how it’s done with a fanmade cinematic. The video takes the style of Marvel logo movie openings and uses Fortnite imagery to fill in the videos and pictures.
It’s truly a work of art and Epic Games should seriously consider hiring the creator as a consultant. They have an eye for this sort of thing.
Cyberpunk…please we need you!
The futuristic style of Season 9 has taken heavy inspiration from ‘cyberpunk’ art. The heavy emphasis on futuristic tech and structures with the vibrant splashes on neon color.
The cyberpunk genre generally sets its stories in such future locales and with dystopian elements. These includes heavy human-made pollution, planetary crime, interstellar problems, and brutal governmental regimes.
CD Projekt Red, creators of the beloved ‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’, are developing ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ within a dystopian cyberpunk universe using the Cyberpunk 2020 tabletop game as a background reference.
Reddit user u/Liqood created an artistic image of Neo Tilted blended into this darker ‘cyberpunk’ world.
The art shows Rox looking over the streets of Neo Tilted as a futuristic blimp passes by. The streets are covered in unchecked man-made pollution. The buildings shine brightly with pink and blue neon flairs.
The image is absolutely stunning and gives off that essential cyberpunk vibe. A distinct mixture of wonder, sadness, beauty, and darkness. We highly recommend checking out Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay and details (linked above) if the image catches your interest.
Now that’s a true Fortnite fan’s PC!
Some fans don’t just like Fortnite, they absolutely love it! One gamer took it upon themselves to craft a completely unique casing for their PC.
Desktop PCs all (well almost all…) have a case in which the components of the PC sit. This case can vary in size, colors, and features. Most cases are fairly bland and look like boring black or grey boxes.
Gaming PC cases do often times feature lights and clear panes through which you can see into the PC’s insides.
Reddit user u/mokolokoo took their already impressive PC case and turned it into a masterpiece of artistic design.
The side features a deployed Fortnite Spike Trap, the front is ‘boarded up’ with wood walls, and a pickaxe is permanently struck through the case at the top.
We just hope the pickaxe didn’t hit any important bits! PC equipment is expensive after all! Especially you are rocking an all-new RTX card from Nvidia.
We hope you enjoyed taking a look at some of the top concepts from the week. You can check out more each week along with some possible concept articles during the weekdays.
