We love to browse through social media throughout the week and see all of the wonderful fan creations that are posted, so we decided to highlight our three favorites from April 29 to May 5!
Reddit is one of the most popular places to find Fortnite concepts, especially within the FortniteBR subreddit.
Throughout the week of April 29 and April 5, we picked out favorite fan concepts that range from artistic recreations to brand new skin ideas.
Thanks to everybody who submitted their art!
Volcanic Eruption Animated Loading Screen
Fans waited anxiously as the time at Loot Lake counted down, seemingly hinting at a huge in-game event on May 4.
On May 4 players were witness to the Unvaulting event which saw the return of the Drum Gun, and the destruction of three towns in Fortnite.
While we wait for the real eruption, here’s my own version of it, as an animated loading screen or menu entry from FortNiteBR
User Feralidragon on the FortniteBR subreddit submitted their animated loading screen for Fortnite which would certainly be an upgrade to what we have now.
This load screen is black and grey as volcanic ash rains down on the Earth as the volcano spews fire and lightning.
Feralidragon’s screen would certainly pay respect to Epic for all the work they do for Fortnite and the community.
Froggy Skin Set Concept
We often see skins that are inspired by other popular works of animation, like My Hero Academia.
This concept by @fortnite_natto is not only creative, but she took the time to add different subtleties to the skin which makes it so much better.
Even though @fortnite_natto didn’t name the skin concept, we took it upon ourselves to title it the “Froggy skin set” due to the character’s huge frog-like eyes on top of her hood.
The pickaxe and glider are modeled after huge leafs, where frogs typically like to hang out.
“RIP Dusty Depot” fan drawing
One of our favorite original drop spots in Fortnite was Dusty Depot, which was changes to Dusty Divot on May 1, 2018, with the meteor crash.
Even though the location has been forever changed, fans still love to show their continued support for their favorite spots in Fortnite.
User FreeMyBoiMineta shows his hand drawing of the OG Dusty Depot with “May 1st, 2018 THE END”.
We often show off animated and rendered concepts, but once in a while, we like to display other works of art.

Fortnite leaked skins & cosmetics from v15.50 update
Epic Games have rolled out their first update in a few weeks, with the arrival of Fortnite patch v15.50, and a number of skins and cosmetics have leaked as a result.
These weekly updates were never missed in times gone by, however Fortnite Chapter 2 has been a lot more inconsistent in that sense. Some weeks there is a huge update with map changes, new crossovers and challenges – while others will just make very minor bug changes.
You can always read about what to expect from the patch here on Fortnite Intel, and alongside those patch notes, let’s run through some of the game’s unreleased outfits.
On March 2, once the downtime began, a number of leakers started looking into the game’s files to see what had changed. To their surprise, with just two weeks left in the season, not much had been tweaked in terms of content.

Keep an eye out on the Fortnite Item Shop and you never know, one or two may appear there in the near future.
Fortnite v15.40 leaked skins and cosmetics revealed
Epic Games have revealed the new Fortnite v15.40 update and leakers have already found a bunch of new skins.
Epic Games has dropped patch v15.40 in Fortnite and with it comes a boat load of leaked skins as well as cosmetics.
The latest update brought back one of the game’s older weapons, which had been vaulted for some time, and that’s the Flint Knock pistol.
As the pirate theme died long ago in Chapter 2, the weapon hasn’t been around for much of Chapter 2 – but now it’s back in the loot pool.
As usual, following an update, leakers have been hard at work looking around for any potential teasers for upcoming content. To that point, leaked skins and cosmetics have emerged.
Fortnite v15.40 leaked skins
Before we dive into the individual skins and how they’re going to look in Fortnite, it’s worth noting VastBlast discovered four new bundles are included.
These can be seen below – coming with individual pickaxes, back blings, and more.
On top of that, ShiinaBR revealed how some of the new skins shape up in-game.
Last but not least is the SypherPK Locker Bundle, found by iFireMonkey.
Fortnite v15.40 leaked cosmetics
Here’s the list of new cosmetics leaked, courtesy of HYPEX – one of the game’s most accurate leakers.
As you can see, a number of weapon wraps and other cosmetics are in the works.
Now, it’s only a matter of time before they’re added to the battle royale experience. Which one do you have eyes for? Let us know by tweeting us @FortniteINTEL on Twitter.
Fortnite v15.40 early patch notes: Flint Knock returns, LTMs & more
The “most amazing” Fortnite patch ever has been revealed, and here’s everything that’s included.
Epic Games has confirmed a few key details on Fortnite’s v15.40 update. From all the new content to an exact release time, here’s everything there is to know.
Another week brings us another Fortnite update. Fresh content is always right around the corner in Epic’s battle royale and this latest batch has fans eager to jump back in.
Not only are popular limited time modes back in full force, but a fan favorite weapon is also being unvaulted. Moreover, the game should be smoother than ever thanks to the latest wave of bug fixes.
The February 16 update is finally here but before we get there, here’s everything we know about Fortnite’s 15.40 patch.
Fortnite v15.40 patch downtime
No different from previous weeks, Epic Games has confirmed the exact timing for the next update. Fortnite’s v15.40 patch will be deployed on Tuesday, February 16. Downtime is scheduled to begin at roughly 4AM ET | 10 AM BST | 9 AM UTC.
While the new update brings new content, it will also remove various “unreleased assets are props,” Epic added. This means downtime could be a little longer than usual as the developers overhaul bigger chunks of the game.
However, as a result of these changes, the overall file size of Fortnite should be reduced moving forward.
Fortnite v15.40 patch notes
Epic had teased the return of a popular item. “Blast back with an unvaulted favorite,” they shared in a February 15 tweet.
‘Blast’ points towards something explosive on the way. From the Quad Launcher to Dynamite, there are plenty of explosive options that have been vaulted away for a number of months.
On February 16, once the dust settled on the update, it was revealed that the Flint Knock Pistol was the one returning to battle.
Fortnite leakers have reported that two Hunter portals have been added to the game, potentially lining up two new crossovers for Season 5.
We’ve already seen The Mandalorian, God of War, Halo and others appear during the course of the current season – and ShiinaBR has revealed two more encrypted skins are on the way, too.
Limited Time Modes: Air Royale & Floor is Lava
With Fortnite’s 15.40 update, two LTMs are making a return. Both Air Royale and Floor is Lava will be back for everyone to enjoy.
The first was an extremely popular mode upon release in April 2019. Air Royale loads all players into X4 Stormwing’s until there’s just one survivor left.
Meanwhile, Floor is Lava is the polar opposite. Rather than soaring through the skies, players begin on the ground and have to climb their way up to avoid deadly lava.
Fortnite v15.40 bug fixes
Outside of the new content, Fortnite’s latest patch comes with a number of bug fixes as well. The 15.40 update is expected to fix issues across not only the battle royale, but Save The World and Creative modes too.
Below is a full list of every fix that is expected to go live with the latest Fortnite patch.
- Total Bars appearing as “0” in a match.
- Purple XP Coins disappearing when driven through (without granting XP).
- Matchmaking doesn’t start if unreadied player leaves early.
- Phone Booths do not respect island settings when players change Outfits.
Save the World
- Mythic Lead Survivor portraits appear only as silhouettes.
- Locating a Durrr Burger not counting towards the “Locating: Burger Break!” Ventures quest.
That’s everything there is to know about Fortnite’s 15.40 update for the time being. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as further information becomes available.
