Epic Games have finally launched Fortnite Chapter 2 and it’s battle pass, but there are a few changes. So, here’s everything you need to know.

Ever since fans experienced the end of the Season 10 event and watched on as a black hole encapsulated Fortnite, the wait has been on for the start of the new season.

Thankfully, after some significant downtime, Chapter 2 Season 1 became available on October 15, finally adding a new map, set of weapons, plenty of cosmetics, and the brand-new Feats – which are like achievements. As ever, though, a lot of this content can be found within the Battle Pass and Epic have delivered a few changes to the system that we’ve come to know and love.

Now, you will earn XP and medals based on a variety of different aspects of playing – including surviving, harvesting materials, and, of course, getting kills.

Doing these things in-game will grant you daily medals which can be used to fill out a punchcard in other to earn bonus XP. As usual, that XP means leveling up and that leads to cosmetics – which you can find below.

There are over 100 rewards available in the Battle Pass, including skins, harvesting tools, gliders, emotes, wraps, free v-bucks, and more.

These, alongside the tier you need to reach to unlock them, have been documented in handy images thanks to FortniteInsider.

Even with all the changes, the battle pass will cost you 950 V-Bucks for the starter set, but, you can jump up through the first 25 tiers by shelling out 2,800 V-Bucks.
