The Fortnite challenges for Week 9 of Season 5 have been delayed 24 hours following the decision to postpone update V5.4.0.
Every week players around the world attempt to complete challenges of varying difficulty, all in the name of leveling up their accounts.
While the challenges historically have been released on a Thursday, the new challenges won’t be available in week 9 until Friday, September 7.
The decision is down to the delay of Update V5.4.0, which was postponed due to a controller issue identified during testing.
Update V5.4.0 will include the new High Stakes event, which will feature its own set of challenges, cosmetics, and weapons (the Grappler!).
This also means that Challenge unlocks will be pushed back a day from Thursday 9/6 to Friday 9/7.
