FaZe Clan’s prize Fortnite star, Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney, thinks Fortnite Battle Royale needs a breath of fresh air, and a new map would be the perfect choice.
Each new season of Fortnite Battle Royale brings new changes to the Fortnite map, which has been around since 2017.
Fortnite has introduced new biomes including a snow and desert environment along with a huge volcano which was added in Fortnite Season 8.
Tfue has an idea on how to give Fortnite the needed refresher that the game desperately needs – a new map.
Tfue’s thoughts on the map
FaZe Tfue was streaming Fortnite Battle Royale Arena solos on April 26 when he became frustrated with the game’s map layout.
“They need to make a new map,” He said solemnly to his chat while rubbing his eyes in frustration.
“This map is dog shit. I have played, like, countless BR [Battle Royale] maps, and this is probably the worst one. When it comes to how everything is placed it makes no fucking sense.”
Does Fortnite need a new map?
Ever since Season 1 of Fortnite Battle Royale launched on October 25, 2017 the map has stayed the same.
Some locations have been removed while new ones have been added, but overall, the layout and geography of Fortnite Battle Royale’s sole map has not changed.
Some players know virtually everything about Fortnite’s map, and Tfue thinks it might be time for a whole new area for players to fight.
With Epic Game’s focus staying on adding new weapons and vehicles, we doubt that we will see a new map soon.
Every new season brings different map changes, and we expect Epic Games to follow this formula going forward.
