Epic Games have posted an announcement stating that Fortnite Battle Royale is coming to mobile devices, featuring the same-exact gameplay, weekly updates, map, content, and more currently seen on PC and Console.

Epic says that Fortnite Battle Royale will be available first in Invite List testing. Players can sign up for the invite list starting Monday, March 12 on Fortnite‘s website.

The game will be available on iOS first, with Android support to come in the next few months. iOS users will be need iOS 11 or later, an internet connected device, and an iPhone 6S/SE or later, iPad Mini 4, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad 2017 devices. Epic says they will be sending out invites regularly over the next few months to iOS users who sign up. Players will also be granted friend codes to give out if they are selected by Epic.

In partnership with Sony, Epic has announced that Fortnite Battle Royale will support Cross Play and Cross Progression between PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, iOS and eventually Android. This means players across devices can squad up with friends and play together.

Epic wants to achieve the goal of having the same content, quality, and experience across all platforms of play.
