Fortnite Battle Royale is kicking off its second birthday starting with a celebratory style change for the Battle Bus.

Epic Games originally launched Fortnite in 2017 and has since grown to take over the video game world.

Millions of fans of all ages hop in-game to witness the latest events like the giant battle between the Polar Peak monster and the Pressure Plant robot.

On July 24, players who jump into a Battle Royale match will be greeted by a Battle Bus full of balloons, streamers, and a huge candle with the number 2.

What does the Fortnite Birthday Battle Bus look like?

As the Battle Bus flies across the map to drop off players, the bus leaves a huge trail of purple, pink, and neon blue balloons across the sky.

Fortnite’s Battle Bus is covered in streamers and balloons.

Players on the Battle Bus will also be welcomed with a special rendition of the “Happy Birthday” song with a special Fortnite twist.

For Fortnite’s first birthday, players were able to complete special challenges in order to earn exclusive rewards.

To celebrate Fortnite’s second birthday, there will be a set of “Birthday Bash” challenges for players to complete which will reward them with birthday-themed in-game items.

Thanks to the v9.41 update on July 23, players will be able to find Birthday Cakes and Birthday Presents that can be found via floor loot, supply drops, llamas, chests, and vending machines.

Fortnite World Cup

From July 26 to July 28, the Fortnite World Cup finals will be held in New York City where the top qualified players from around the world will duel for a slice of the $30 million prize pool.

Leakers were already able to discover information on World Cup-themed cosmetics, and sure enough, they were confirmed by Epic in their July 23 blog post.

We would like to wish Fortnite a happy second birthday. Congratulations to Epic Games on another successful year of Fortnite Battle Royale!
