The Kymera skin is a highly customizable outfit in the Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass, but it requires Alien Artifacts to unlock its parts. Here are the Fortnite Alien Artifact locations.
Similar to the Season 3 Brella glider and Season 2 Maya skin, the Season 7 Battle Pass has its own custom skin. Kymera is the first skin players receive after purchasing the Battle Pass, and he’s also seen as the main enemy in the Season 7 story trailer.
However, Kymera’s parts aren’t unlocked by completing different challenges or reaching certain levels. Instead, Season 7 introduces a new form of currency called Alien Artifacts. These are used to purchase different style options from the Kymera Battle Pass menu. This guide will show players all of the Fortnite Alien Artifact locations.
Alien Artifact locations in Fortnite
There are two way to obtain Alien Artifacts: Collecting the weekly canisters and opening Cosmic Chests. Cosmic Chests randomly appear in Squads Mode and drop a random number of Alien Artifacts when opened. If you’re interested in hunting these chests, check out our guide on where to find Cosmic Chests.
Below is a map that shows the locations of the current Alien Artifacts. More Artifacts will be added each week at different locations around the map. Each of the Fortnite Alien Artifact locations gives players four artifacts. A gold rarity has yet to be added that will give players seven.
The Alien Artifacts are out in the open and make a feint noise when nearby. This makes them easy to locate and collect. To collect them, players simply need to walk into them. They can even drive through them using a boat, car, or UFO. The artifacts will be given to players when they return to the lobby after the match.
There aren’t any other uses for Alien Artifacts outside of purchasing Kymera parts. Players are encouraged to spend their Alien Artifacts as they get them because the best alien parts are locked behind purchasing all of the parts from that category. While you may only be able to get a limited number of Alien Artifacts easily, Cosmic Chest hunting allows players to obtain an unlimited amount
Where to find Alien Parasites & how to get rid of them in Fortnite
Season 7’s alien invasion has introduced a lot of crazy mechanics, one of which is the new Fortnite Alien Parasites.
The Season 7 Alien invasion will continue to intensify over the course of the season. The next phase of the invasion will introduce the Fortnite Alien Parasites.
At the start of the Alien Invasion, players could enjoy a few high-tech weapons and the all-new UFO vehicles. However, Epic Games ensured players that Fortnite would continue to change throughout the season. New weapons, new POIs, and new mechanics would be coming soon.
What would an alien invasion be without some sort of extraterrestrial parasite? Season 7 will introduce a Fortnite Alien Parasite that helps and harms the player it is attached to. This guide will help players locate the Alien Parasites as well as how to use and get rid of them.
Finding and using Fortnite Alien Parasites
The Alien Parasites will spawn around the map with a 100% spawn rate at the Purple Named locations, and a 66% spawn rate at random locations. They will spawn inside of green glowing eggs that will only hatch when approached. These eggs have 60 health, and the parasites will have 75 health.
When they hatch, the parasites will chase players and attach themselves to their heads. They will lowly drain 40 health from the player, but will also give the player enhanced speed and jump height. After they drain 40 health, they will remain attached to the player until they are removed.
Parasites will remove themselves from players if they take damage. As well, they will be removed if the player comes into contact with water or fire, or if they turn into a prop. As noted by HYPEX, the Fortnite Alien Parasite will ignore the player for a few moments after they detach themselves from players.
Alien Parasites can be used as an effective way to rotate out of the storm. Even though they do drain the player’s health, they might not be needed long enough to drain all 40 HP. Quickly picking up a parasite makes it easier when a player is running out of the storm or away from a fight.
How to unlock all Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass Super Styles
Fortnite Season 7 Super Styles are easier to unlock than any season before. Here’s what level players must reach to unlock them all.
The conditions players will have to meet in order to unlock the Battle Pass Super Styles have been revealed. Also known as Enlightened Skins, the Fortnite Season 7 Super Skins will be easier to unlock than in seasons past.
Enlightened/Super Skins are prestigious style variants for the skins that are unlocked through the Battle Pass. These types of skins were implemented in Chapter 1 Season 4, and are a testament to skill. In order for players to unlock these skins, they have to reach a high Battle Pass level for the season.
Last season, players had to reach level 225 before the end of the season to unlock all nine variants. This is the equivalent of completing a second Battle Pass plus 25 levels. Some players think the Super Skins have lackluster designs, while others grind for them to show their dominance.
Unlock Season 7 Super Styles
Since this season of Fortnite has reintroduced Battle Stars, unlocking the Season 7 Super Styles is also a bit different Battle Stars are earned when a player gains a level, and they are used to purchase Battle Pass items. Players will also have to use Battle Stars to purchase this season’s Super Styles.
There will be at least five items to purchase from each tier. Tier 1 Super Styles will cost 15 Battle Stars each, Tier 2 will cost 20, and Tier 3 will cost 25. Players will have to spend 300 Battle Stars to purchase all of the Season 7 Super Styles. This also means players will only have to reach level 200 this season to unlock every season exclusive.
We don’t know what the Super Styles will look like yet, but players are already expressing their opinions. Fans are begging Epic Games not to make the Super Styles metallic variants like they’ve been in the past. Others are hoping that they will get galaxy styles which would be a first.
Regardless, players won’t have to grind as hard as they have in the past to earn these items. And since the skins can be purchased with Battle Stars, players might not even have to reach level 200 to get the Season 7 Super Skins. Stay tuned as we will update this article as more information is revealed.
Where to find UFOs in Fortnite Season 7
Season 7 has been invaded by aliens, and players can take control of their aircrafts. Here’s how to find UFOs in Fortnite Season 7.
UFOs are the latest vehicles to be added to Fortnite, and they way players find them are a bit different than cars and boats. Here is how to find UFOs in Fortnite.
At the end of Season 6, players randomly started to get abducted by unseen UFOs. A quick beam of light detached from any visible spaceship would teleport players to a different location. These instances, paired with various ARG puzzles, confirmed that aliens would be invading Season 7.
When the trailers for Fortnite Season 7 dropped, one of the first things that players noticed were the drivable UFOs. The mysterious flying saucers that had ben abducting players could now be seen flying around the map. Not only were the visible, but players could hijack them and start abducting players themselves.
Fortnite Season 7 UFO locations
To find UFOs in Fortnite, players will have to use their maps to locate invaded POIs. Unlike cars and boats, UFOs don’t spawn in the same place every round. Instead, aliens will invade three random POIs that will change every time a player drops in to a round of Fortnite.
Players will need to open their maps to see which POIs have been invaded. As seen on the map below, the invaded POIs will have purple names instead of white. This means three UFOs will be circling this location in search of players to abduct. This also means, players won’t find any UFOs lying on the ground waiting to be taken.
To pilot a UFO, players will need to shoot one out of the sky, or kill the alien piloting it. Each UFO has three lives, and shooting one out of the sky will take one of them. When a UFO runs out of health, it will need to land and recharge. While it is recharging, players can make their way to the crash site, eliminate the alien, and steal the UFO.
UFOs can boost, shoot lasers, and pick up objects with a tractor beam. It also has a battery that will need to be recharged if used for an extended period of time. However, UFOs have a very small amount of health which makes them easy to take down. Even with three lives, UFOs are glass canons.
