Fortnite’s v9.41 Content Update went live on July 23 which included the addition of the new Storm Scout Sniper Rifle.
Weapons are always being switched out in Fortnite in order to make room for new, and improved firearms.
The latest weapon to be added is the Storm Scout Sniper Rifle and allows players to see the next circle location.
According to Epic’s blog post, the sniper rifle has an embedded weather map within the weapon’s scope that shows upcoming storm circles, which is a new mechanic in Fortnite.

Tim ‘Timthetatman’ Betar was able to combine the flying powers of the Driftboard in order to gain the upper hand in battle and sniped a player down.
Brett ‘Dakotaz’ Hoffman had a bunch of Storm Scout Sniper Rifle clips to show off within a few hours of the weapon being released.
There was also a clip floating around of Jimmy ‘HighDistortion” using the Storm Scout to show the new circle, allowing him to set up for the next rotation safely.
