It now looks certain that Epic Games are planning another spectacular Christmas event for Fortnite, this time covering the entire map in snow and adding new buildings.
The game’s developers love to celebrate just about every holiday with an event in their battle royale title, as they add new themed features and challenges to the game multiple times a year.
In 2018, we were blessed with 14 Days of Fortnite for the Christmas season, where many amazing rewards could be earned by completing unique challenges every day. So far, no event has been announced for this year, but it is undoubtedly coming, and leakers have already managed to dig up some information.
Some fans may have been disappointed by the previous year’s lack of snow (it was Christmas and we only had one snow biome!), but this time everywhere will be hit by the holiday spirit.

The biggest change is undoubtedly the snow map which will see the entire landscape covered in snow.
We could even see the return of the Sneaky Snowman, an item that let players hide in plain sight, which could be effective almost anywhere if the whole map is covered in snow.
Some interesting skins have popped up as well, such as a reindeer with a Christmas jumper, a nutcracker, and even a Christmas themed pug.
Last, but not least, there are some seasonal looking buildings, such as an ice hotel, a toy factory, and a ski lodge. Clearly, Epic Games are gearing up for something huge.
There’s no doubt that even more exciting new things will be revealed soon. Which new features are you most excited about?
