Here is your first teaser for the upcoming sixth season of Fortnite Battle Royale.
The teaser was posted at 3PM BST by Epic Games to officially kickstart the transition from Fortnite Battle Royale Season 5 to Season 6. Season 6 begins in three days, on the 27th of September 2018.
The post is extremely similar to the original Season 5 teaser, which had the mask of the Drift skin – which is the first cosmetic you get when you purchase the Battle Pass.
So, of course, the DJ Llama which is featured in the Season 6 teaser is most likely the first cosmetic in the Battle Pass – and we can’t decide what to think of it.
Season 6 is dropping on Thursday, September 27 – so make sure you get your weekly challenges complete before Season 5 finishes. Don’t worry though, you can still level up your Ragnarok and Drift skins after the season has finished.
Season 6 is now dropping from the Battle Bus on September 27.
Celebrate its arrival and unlock those final Battle Pass rewards with an additional 400% Match XP all weekend, from now until September 24 at 8 AM ET (1200 GMT). Glide into the party! 🎉

Unfortunately, the 400% Match XP bonus has ended but you can still get your challenges in. Here are our weekly guides for the challenges, in which we cover every single challenge released in Season 5 from its beginning to now.
What do you think? Hopefully we’ll see more teasers as the days leading up to Season 6 decrease – we still don’t know the actual theme of Season 6, and we have yet to see Loot Lake do anything other than make players bounce.
