FaZe Clan co-owner Ricky ‘Banks’ and Mike Majlak from the Impaulsive podcast stopped by Adam “NoJumper22” Grandmaison’s podcast on June 25 and talked about the lawsuit with Tfue, Fortnite, and esports.

Everybody who keeps up with Fortnite knows who Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney is, since he is considered one of the best players in the world.

In May, Tfue’s legal team announced that they were suing the popular esports organization FaZe Clan over his “oppressive” contract.

FaZe Clan founder and co-owner, FaZe Banks, responded by going on a rapid-fire tweet spree sharing his unfiltered, raw emotions on the matter.

On June 25, just over a month since the lawsuit came to light, Banks spoke about the situation along with his feelings on esports, Fortnite, and other hot topics in the industry on the NoJumper podcast alongside Mike from Logan Paul’s Impaulsive.

FaZe Banks on Tfue

The interview begins with the three men discussing old topics in the industry like YouTube drama when NoJumper guided the conversations along by asking Banks about his emotional tweets towards Tfue.

The New England native told the host that his lawyers were “blowing up” his phone and he had to take his Tweet spree to his laptop.

“I had to turn my phone off. I just went over to my laptop.”

He then went on to explain that he was just sharing his feelings on the matter and was being himself, just like he always has.

Will Fortnite remain on top?

FaZe Clan has been one of the top North American esports organizations for the past several years as they have teams across several top games like Counter-Strike, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, and Call of Duty.

Even though Banks does not deal with the day to day operations, he does have a say in what games the organization wants to enter.

Fortnite has been a top game for almost two years now, but he doesn’t think it will be the most popular for much longer.

“There is always a bigger game that comes along.” Banks continued with: “There is a game that is being worked on right now, that we don’t know about, and will destroy Fortnite.”

It remains to be seen if another game will come along and take down Fortnite, but for now, Epic’s game remains on top.
