Team SoloMid released Noah ‘Cowboy’ Cmiel on March 6 due to accusations that he contacted an underage female and exchanged inappropriate messages through social media.
Cowboy was released in part due to Twitch streamer Faith, who told her chat that Cowboy was allegedly married and sent inappropriate messages to an underage female streamer.
According to Twitch streamer Faith, TSM pro Fortnite player Cowboy, whom is married, sent inappropriate messages to an underage female streamer. Speaking to the streamer, who wants to remain anonymous, she was made uncomfortable. Cowboy has since deleted his twitter and discord. pic.twitter.com/7PmRvfsl4U— Rod Breslau (@Slasher) March 6, 2019
A few hours after the video surfaced, TSM decided to let go of ‘Cowboy’, as announced through their official Twitter:
Yesterday Cowboy was officially released and is no longer affiliated with us.— TSM (@TSM) March 6, 2019
Since ‘Cowboy’ was released, he deleted his Twitter, Discord, and was believed to have wiped his social accounts in an effort to stay away from the negativity that swept him.
Faith shared DMs on her March 6 stream which allegedly showed Cowboy DMing the underage female saying “looking good ;)”.
On March 13, ‘Cowboy’ reinstated his Twitter and posted a message explaining his side of the story:
“There are many words I’d like to share with you guys at this moment but, given that I’m in the provess of trying to get to the bottom of these false accusations and clear my name, this is what I can share: The suggestion that I would hit on underage girls on Twitter is ridiculous and totally false.
“It was reported that I deleted my Twitter and Discord; I temporarily deactivated my Twitter and close my DMs on Discord, as I was advised to do. I want to focus on cleaning things up with my family and girlfriend. All of whom have been incredibly supportive.
“I’ve had a passion for the Fortnite Competitive community and it’s growth since the geginning and that first is still very much alive. I want all of you guys to success and think about it constantly.
“Special thanks to my girlfriend, Mother and two sisters for helping me through this.”
‘Cowboy’ explained that he deactivated his Twitter and closed his Discord as “he was advised to do”.
He also goes on to say that the accusations are “ridiculous and totally false”, while thanking his family and girlfriend for sticking by his side.
TSM nor any of his old team mates have commented on the situation, but we will keep you updated with anything new here at @FortniteINTEL.
