In a surprising move, player stats have been temporarily disabled in Fortnite Battle Royale.
The announcement came on Wednesday, August 21 from the official Fortnite Twitter account, which revealed how in-game stats will look different in the Career page.
According to Epic Games, player stats will show up as zeros on the Career page, however, this is just a temporary measure.
Even though the stats might be disabled in-game on the Career page, there is no need to worry. Your stats will still be recorded and will be updated when they are re-enabled by Epic Games.

We have temporarily disabled stats, and they will show as zeroes on your Career page. We are still recording data, so your stats will be updated when they are re-enabled.— Fortnite (@FortniteGame) August 21, 2019
At the time of writing, it is unknown why player stats have been disabled by Epic Games in Fortnite, due to the developer providing no extra info in their announcement.
While some believe the decision was made based on in-game issues with the stats, others think that Epic might be trying to give the Fortnite stats a bit of an overhaul.
We will continue to provide more information as it is made available by Epic Games.
