Fortnite’s Secret Skirmish is almost here but some pro players are upset with Epic Games.
With the Secret Skirmish right around the corner, players are gearing up for action and getting all of their last-minute practices in.
Many players were under the impression they could use whatever resolution they pleased, such as stretched, but it appears Epic Games had other ideas.
According to an Epic Games Discord server, only four resolutions were allowed for the tournament:
FaZe Clan’s Cloak was upset about this when he found out he wouldn’t be able to use his stretched resolution for the tournament.
Been playing stretched res cause we were told we were allowed to use it for the tournament. Find out a day before the tourney I can't use my stretched res. LOOOOOL

As it turns out, Epic Games is offering a workaround solution on site that will allow players to use any resolution.
If all goes according to plan, players will be able to use what they are used to meaning all those practice hours didn’t go to waste.
There was already unrest in the community due to the fact players had to use equipment provided to them instead of using their own.
The Secret Skirmish takes place on February 14 and 15 with $500,000 up for grabs.
You can watch the tournament live through Fortnite’s official Twitch channel.
