The Fortnite World Cup is being held from July 26-28 with a massive $30 million prize pool, and Epic announced another $3 million pot for the newly announced Fortnite World Cup – Creative.
On April 18, Epic Games posted an announcement on their official website announcing the $3 million Fortnite World Cup – Creative, that will be held alongside the main $30 million event.
What is the Fortnite World Cup – Creative?
There will be five different Creative events, with each one having a different Creative Trial built by community Creators.
Each event will focus on a different type of Creative game, which could be speed runs, racing, or a build-off competition.
The best 15 participants will be selected to face off in the Fortnite World Cup event in New York from July 26-28 for a slice of the $3 million prize pot.
How do you qualify?
There will be five different events for the Creative portion of the Fortnite World Cup which will be held from April 29-June 7.
Each week there will be a new Creative Trial for players to run through and submit clips using the event-specific hashtag on YouTube.
Special Fortnite captains have been selected by Epic Games to judge over the clip submissions.
What is the first Creative trial?
The first trial for the Fortnite World Cup Creative was built by FaZe Clan’s Cizzorz.
Cizzorz will also be judging the event and selecting the best runners to compete in New York.
FaZe Cizzorz was able to gain popularity in the Fortnite community due to his custom death run maps.
