ReKTGlobal, the parent company of Rogue, has announced a multi-year deal with Benjamin ‘DrLupo’ Lupo.

The deal will see DrLupo become the “first esports player to serve as the face of the organization,” according to the press release.

In addition to being one of the top Fortnite streamers, DrLupo has also become a philanthropist as his charity streams for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. In July, he streamed for four hours in the St Jude’s PLAY LIVE event, during those four hours he raised over $1 million to fund the hospital’s fight against cancer.

That stream broke multiple records for the hospital and showed DrLupo isn’t just interested in making money off his stream, but also giving back to worthwhile causes.

As part of the new deal, DrLupo will also be a key part of Rogue Nation and Junior Rogue, two programs that bring fans closer to the organization and provide them with benefits.

“Rogue encompasses professionalism at its finest in the esports industry,” commented Benjamin “DrLupo” Lupo. “The relationships that I’ve developed within Rogue feel like no other – the only word I can use to truly describe the feeling is ‘family.’ They’re goal oriented without losing focus on what is most important in gaming: fun. I’m excited to continue to work with Rogue and ReKTGlobal on a ton of exciting upcoming adventures, and I cannot wait to get more people involved.”

ReKTGlobal is the parent company to Rogue and production company Greenlit Content. The company made headlines as they have brought in a flurry of investments from major players in the music scene.

Imagine Dragons, Steve Aoki, Live Nation, Nicky Romero, and Tainy are all investors in the company. Those investments were part of a $10.8 million funding round for the company which will help push Rogue’s and initiatives like Junior Rogue into the next level.

“Ben, otherwise known as DrLupo, is the rarest of the rare in esports,” commented Dave Bialek, CEO of ReKTGlobal. “He is part celebrity and part philanthropist. He is an individual superstar and the Captain of Rogue’s Fortnite and Junior Rogue teams. His family values and support for Rogue and ReKTGlobal make him the only choice to serve at the face of our growing organization. We are thrilled to have him as an integral part of the company.”
