Did The Rock just tease a Fortnite Season 6 collab?

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s cryptic Instagram video has led fans to speculate that he will be a part of Fortnite Season 6’s Foundation.

Fortnite Season 6 The Rock

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson posted a cryptic video to his Instagram page, potentially hinting at a crossover in Fortnite Season 6.

Fortnite Season 6 is less than a week old, but fans are already wondering what surprises are in store for the latest Fortnite season.

In Season 5, Epic went all-in with their crossovers, bringing in characters from film, TV, and other video game franchises. It’s still too early to tell if Season 6 will follow the same path.

We might be past the bounty hunters of Season 5, but that doesn’t mean that the collaborations have ended. Fortnite fans saw a video that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson posted to his Instagram page that they think hints at a link between the entertainment legend and Fortnite’s new Foundation character.

Fortnite-The-Foundation

The Rock posted a video on March 16, the same day that Season 6 released. In the video, he said that it was a “big day” for him and a certain community. “There’s connective tissue between that world and my world,” he told his followers.

“This is all done to strengthen and evolve and grow the power and the force known as ‘The Foundation,'” he said before giving his signature single-eyebrow lift to the camera.

As fans of Fortnite lore know, The Foundation was the character who was introduced during the Season 6 cinematic trailer. He is, undoubtedly, the leader or the founder of The Seven.

We don’t know whether to assume that this post means that The Rock is The Foundation character or if he’ll play another member of The Seven. The video is cryptic, so it’s hard to tell exactly what it means.

Data miners have, reportedly, also found a file with the name ‘DJ’ underneath The Foundation in the Season 6 game files. This could, of course, be a reference to Dwayne Johnson’s initials.

We still have no idea what this post could mean. It could be a coincidence, a red herring, or a legitimate teaser for a future crossover.

That’s all we know for sure, but we’ll keep you updated when we hear more teasers, speculation, or official word from Epic Games.

Fortnite leak shows two major POIs getting the Reality Bloom effect soon

Reality Bloom is a phenomenon that is wildly spreading across the island as it modifies several POIs. Here are a few more locations that might get that effect in the coming weeks.

fortnite reality bloom

Fortnite Season 3 centers around the Zero Point blessing the island with colors and the mighty Reality Tree spreading its roots across the island. The bloom effect the roots create along several POIs further result in the return of classic locations from the Chapter 1 map.

The mystery behind the flora of the Reality Tree has been revolving across fan theories, leaks and concepts created by the Fortnite player-base. Loopers are having their share of fun with looting from their Reality Saplings and seeing the return of Chapter 1 locations merging with several current POIs as a result of the Reality Bloom effect.

To summarize, when the Reality Tree spreads its roots across the island and grows an extension of itself on a POI, it causes several realities to merge, which in turn merges a POI with another from another point in time. This phenomenon is coined as Reality Bloom effect by the player community.

In the past, players have seen the return of Temple Ruins, Coral Castle and now Neo Tilted in POIs like Logjam, Butter Barn etc. that have all undergone through the Reality Bloom effect. Latest leak shows two more locations that are about to undergo a major change as the roots of the Reality Tree have just begun to spread further.

Sleepy Sound and Condo Canyon are about to undergo the “Reality Bloom Effect” soon

Two major POIs known for its expansive architecture and loot pool, Condo Canyon and Sleepy Sound are under the radar of the Reality Tree next. The two locations will soon see the extensions of the roots of the mysterious tree and will get a Reality Bloom effect.

The effect would then bring POIs such as Tilted Town, Neo Tilted, Coral Castle, Coliseum and Lazy Links to the two locations currently on the map. These POIs are a combination of Chapter 1 & 2 locations whose realities are being merged by the Reality Tree.

Although the effect does bring back fan favorite locations back into the game without any explanation, some loopers speculate that the island might be in grave danger. The mysterious figure that appeared at the end of the Chapter 3 Season 3 trailer has not been seen before and is being called as Bloomwatcher by the player base.

Furthermore, there are theories that the Zero Point might already be causing chaos around the island and the Imagined Order was right to contain it along the Bridge. Now that it is free, the island is undergoing major changes and is running wilder than before.

The mystery of the Zero Point remains as loopers continue to enjoy their time in this madness caused by the chaotic Reality Blooms across their favorite POIs. All that the players ever wanted was the Chapter 1 map to return but it isn’t turning out the way it was supposed to be.

Fortnite leaks reveal another Stranger Things collab coming to Season 3

The Upside Down is set to collide with the loop once again as another Stranger Things collaboration is arriving to Fortnite soon. Here are more details about it.

STRANGER THINGS FORTNITE

The infamous collaboration between Stranger Things and Fortnite wasn’t as big when it was first introduced in Fortnite back in 2019. Loopers were disappointed by the cosmetics that the collab brought into the game but at present, it remains one of the rarest items in-game.

Fortnite is known for collaborating with popular culture films and TV shows pretty often and brings several characters from their respective franchises to the looped island. In the past, major characters like Star Lord (Marvel), Batman (The Dark Knight), Rick and Morty were added in the game as skins accompanied by their famous props as cosmetic items like Back Blings, Pickaxes and Gliders.

However, when it comes to major TV shows, Stranger Things was a phenomenon back in 2019 when its second season was underway. The show gained hype in its initial days as fans loved the entire 80s vibe of sci-fi and horror as the kids went against the Upside Down and save Hawkins.

The collab soon hit the Fortnite Item Shop but to the surprise of the player base, the only skins they received were an ugly looking Demogorgon and extremely buffed Chief Hopper skins, while they were expecting Eleven and the gang. However, latest leaks might bring good news to those fans and new skins into the game.

Fortnite skins are coming soon in Season 3 ahead of its finale release

According to several leaks that emerged after the recent v21.10 update in Fortnite Season 3, items like “WaffleWarrior” were added to the game files. Now according to theory, in the Stranger Things series, its protagonist Eleven is the only character who is extremely fond of Eggos Waffles.

The tag “WaffleWarrior” hints towards her and it might be the case that ahead of the release of Season 4 finale next week, Eleven could be an in-game skin that could be added to the shop soon. Moreover, it has nearly been 3 years since the skins from the Netflix series were last seen in the Item Shop.

However, fans are already creating crossover concepts of characters from both Fortnite and Stranger Things. Recently a concept artist by the name of Feraalsy created a video of Peely being possessed by Vecna.

The concept video shows Vecna’s skin concept as well as Prisoner Jones present alongside with Peely. Although it is a brilliant concept, the current hype of the series highly suggests a collaboration incoming to Fortnite soon later this season.

Ozil might join Fortnite esports

After having a glorious run in Real Madrid, Arsenal, and Schalke 04, Mesut Ozil joined Fenerbahçe S.K. Reports claim that the footballer might take up esports as a career after retirement.

Mesut Ozil has nothing left to prove in the world of Football. He’s won several trophies over the years and is easily one of the best playmakers in the history of the sport. Ozil recently unfollowed Fenerbahce on his social media and seems to be all set for retirement.

The footballer has always been an avid gamer, and his manager claims that Ozil has the potential to become a Fortnite pro.

Mesut Ozil has a long history of playing Fortnite

Ozil’s admiration for Fortnite has never been a secret. He’s been streaming the game on Twitch for years and it has even been a matter of controversy on several occasions.

Back in 2020, fans of Arsenal accused Fortnite of causing Ozil’s back injury. They claimed that playing the battle royale title continuously with a bad posture affected his health.

Ozil promised fans about staying in Fenerbahce but his actions tell a different story

In a recent interview with The Telegraph, Ozil’s manager stated:

“He will go more into esports, and maybe become an esports athlete. He’s really good at Fortnite, and I think one day I wouldn’t be surprised if he is competing”

The former Arsenal midfielder already owns an esports organization that competes in Fortnite and FIFA. He’s definitely had success as a streamer, but it is too early to assume if this will be the case with his esports career as well.

Several sports icons like David Beckham, Michael Jordan, Ronaldo, and Shaq have invested in Esports. It is evident that the industry is growing at an unprecedented rate and now is the perfect time to capitalize on it.
