CouRage takes down Fortnite’s most infamous stream sniper

Published

on

Stream snipers are a plague upon humanity. They seek to ruin the gameplay of our favorite streamers, but CouRage wasn’t having it. He fought back against Fortnite’s worst stream sniper and got the proof for a ban.

CouRage is one of top Fortnite streamer on Twitch with thousands of viewers flooding his stream everyday. He’s a simply enjoyable guy with a jovial attitude and great gameplay to boot.

So, that means stream snipers are always looking to target him. It unfortunately comes with the territory as Epic Games has yet to find an effective way to prevent the heinous cheating.

CouRage and BasicallyIDoWork, a Youtuber with a sizable following himself, were playing duos matches on Thursday, March 21st.

The infamous stream sniper known as ‘tctroy0’ decided it would be a great chance to cheat a few easy kills. We suspect he rarely gets the opportunity to succeed at much of anything, so he saw this as his highlight moment.

He realized too late that he was messing with the wrong streamer.

Troy killed both CouRage and BasicallyIDoWork easily (no wonder) during their duos match. The pair quickly began to wonder how Troy knew exactly where they were. CouRage quickly switches out of Streamer Mode to check his name.

“It’s a Twitch TV. I knew it, bro” CouRage exclaimed upon seeing Troy’s in game username “ttv TC Troy.”

At this point, CouRage was adamantly convinced that this was a stream sniper. CouRage and BasicallyIDoWork searched for Troy’s Twitch account and joined at the perfect moment.

Troy wasn’t even attempting to hide his crime, loudly bragging about how he’d just taken down two big streamers.

“I killed him with the f–king [dual pistols]. So you, know what? I don’t give a f–k. I don’t give a f–k!” Troy proudly pronounced.

CouRage then got the stream sniper to join his Twitch own chat and, due to inexplicable stupidity, Troy detailed how he was able to snipe them due to CouRage playing without delay.

CouRage then asked his mods to ban Troy from the channel and screenshotted the entire conversation.

CouRage had “played him like fiddle” by getting him to expunge every detail of his cheating.

While Epic Games may have a hard time locking him down (he was already suspended before for stream sniping FaZe Clan’s Tfue) as creates new accounts, Twitch now has the evidence to permanently ban his Twitch channel.

This, whether Troy will admit or not, will sting the stream sniper. He’s a pathetic cheater looking to get views and attention by taking down legitimate players. There’s a seedy audience for that sort of thing, but it’s against Twitch’s strict guidelines.

Bye-bye Troy, you’re going to Twitch jail. Ahem to CouRage for providing the proof needed.

Why Fortnite Sideways Anomalies are insanely overpowered

The new Sideways Anomalies in Fortnite Season 8 are ridiculously overpowered. Here is how players can use them to their advantage.

fortnite sideways anomalies overpowered

The new Sideways Anomalies introduced at the start of Fortnite Season 8 are ridiculously overpowered. Here’s why you need to be visiting these anomalies.

Fortnite Season 8 is off to a weird start. Where the past few seasons had themes that were easy to understand, Season 8 is a black swan.

With Cubed being the Season 8 title theme, a bunch of Kevin Cubes have popped up all over the map. Like in Chapter 1, these cubes roll around the map leaving destruction in their wake. But there’s even more to this season’s madness.

Epic Games also threw in the new Sideways biomes. These are zit-lit bubbles that appear on the map that are infested with dangerous creatures. However, the Sideways Anomalies are smaller biomes that are game-changing additions to Fortnite.

What are Sideways Anomalies in Fortnite?

There are two ways players can enter The Sideways in Fortnite Season 8. The first and most popular is via The Sideways biome that appears on one of the POIs at the start of every match. These biomes do not disappear, and they are heavily populated by players and monsters.

However, The Sideways biomes are not as accessible or rewarding as the Sideways Anomalies. Sideways Anomalies appear as purple rift-like markers on the map, and there are three on the map at all times.

When approached, the rifts will expand and create a smaller Sideways biome. Cube Monsters will begin to spawn, and players will be able to spend a small amount of time inside the anomaly before it closes. Once the Sideways Anomaly closes, another one will appear on the map.

Why Sideways Anomalies overpowered

Aside from the larger Sideways biome, players tend to ignore the Fortnite Sideways Anomalies. However, players should visit every Sideways Anomaly they can. Here’s a list of reasons players should visit the Sideways Anomalies.

  • Siphon health from Cube Monster eliminations
  • Easily get max ammo from Cube Monsters
  • Easy way to get Mythic Sideways Weapons

Every time a player kills a Cube Monster, they will gain health and shield. And since the Cube Monsters are easy to kill, players can get full health and shield super quickly. As well, Cube Monsters drop a lot of ammo when eliminated.

Players can also get overpowered Mythic Sideways weapons after visiting 1 or 2 Sideways Anomalies. But what makes these so overpowered is the small number of players that visit them.

Yes, you can get all of these benefits from the large Sideways biomes, but it’s unlikely that you’ll encounter an opponent at Fortnite Sideways Anomalies. Having a biome all to yourself takes the edge off of getting geared up.

When Does Fortnite Season 8 End?

Fortnite Season 8 will end on December 5, 2021. This will allow for Fortnite Season 9 to start just-in-time for the annual Holiday event.

Since Fortnite is reaching a climactic point in its overarching storyline, players can expect an end-of-season event. Fortnite Season 7 featured an interactive experience, and a similar event will likely be held at the end of Season 8.

When Does Fortnite Season 9 Start?

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 9 will start on December 6, 2021. Keeping with the recent trend, Fortnite Season start the day after the current season ends. It wouldn’t make sense for Epic Games to delay the start of Season 9 past December 6th.

Fortnite has made a habit recently of jumping from one season to the next with no breaks in between. There will likely be some downtime between Season 8 and 9, and it could be as long as 13 hours like the end of Season 7.

Fortnite Inflate-A-Bull

Epic Games have added another disguise to Fortnite Season 8 following the v17.10 update, and they’re called Inflate-A-Bulls.

If you ever wanted to tip-toe around the Fortnite world hidden in a cow costume, well, now is your chance!

On July 13, 2021, Epic posted a new update on their official live blog, confirming the Inflate-A-Bull has been added to the game.

Now, you’re going to need to know how to use it, and where to find them – because they look like a lot of fun.

How to use Fortnite Inflate-A-Bull

Fortnite Inflate-A-Bulls can be attached to your back and can be – shock horror – inflated to bounce or roll away from dangerous scenarios.

Essentially, they may save your life during close gunfights.

Quick tips!

Even if a player shoots your way and pops the inflatable, you will be protected from the damage.

Epic have also released a quick tip for players to follow as well, to get the most out of this strange disguise. They posted: “Tip: Rolling downhill with an Inflate-A-Bull is a LOT faster than just running downhill”.

Where to find Fortnite Inflate-A-Bull

These pesky disguises can be found in two ways: IO Chests and normal Chests.

Guarantee yourself one of these items at this location, where Rick Sanchez will wait for you.

However, there is one NPC on the Fortnite island selling these as well – Rick Sanchez. For those who don’t know, Sanchez can be found at the IO Base east of Weeping Woods (seen above).
