There was a picture posted to the FortniteBR subreddit in which some Fortnite fans began to speculate that the Pressure Plant location could be used to contain something massive.
Earlier in Season 9, there was a huge eyeball inside of Polar Peak, which began the rumors of a huge monster making an appearance in Fortnite Battle Royale.
Since then, there has been a huge break in Polar Peaks glacier with the monster nowhere to be found.
Fortnite’s v9.30 patch on June 18 saw some locations at different POI’s being destroyed, like house 5408 in Pleasant Park and Loot Lake’s observatory.
One fan was able to break into the huge metal doors at Pressure Plant to uncover a five-story deep pit.

A monstrous cage
Redditor Daegos_ was able to remove the metal doors at Pressure Plant within Fortnite’s Creative mode, and he posted his findings to the FortniteBR subreddit.
If Daegos’ picture holds to be true and Epic doesn’t change anything, then the doors were protecting a deep secret.
The “bunker” is five stories deep with four huge fans on each side of the structure.
One side of the bunker has huge white painted numbers and letters, potentially used to help workers differentiate individual levels. Maybe each level holds a special monster?
When will we know more?
As of June 25, players are not able to damage or break the metal doors in Fortnite Battle Royale or Fortnite Creative.
Every new season of Fortnite includes new changes to the map and different additions to the overall game.
For the past several seasons of Fortnite Battle Royale, there have been in-game events which are used to help introduce new items, guns, and more to the game.
Fortnite Season 8 included the Unvaulting event where fans were able to vote back the Drum Gun back into Battle Royale, along with the volcano blasting huge rocks slamming into Tilted Towers and Retail Row.

Thanks to that event, Season 9 saw the reconstruction of Tilted Towers into Neo Tilted and Retail Row into Mega Mall.
Fortnite Season 10 is expected to kick off in July which is next month, so there isn’t much time until the next season!
