‘Rifts’ have become one of the preferred methods of transportation across the Fortnite map – here’s a full guide for every Rift location in Season 7.

First added to Fortnite: Battle Royale in July of 2018, Rifts were a product of the infamous ‘Rocket Ship’ that launched in Season 4 and created the massive ‘crack’ in the sky.

When a player enters a Rift, they are suddenly transported high into the sky which allows them to easily traverse the map and glide to a new location with ease.

A total of 13 Rifts can be found across the Fortnite map – 11 are ‘normal’ Rifts that will close after being used, and two ‘infinite’ Rifts can be taken as many times as you want.

Reddit user /u/Z444Z created a super useful map which details every Rift location in Season 7 at the time of writing, along with the two ‘infinite Rifts.’

A majority of the Rifts can be found in the Southeast corner of the map near Paradise Palms. On the contrary, only two Rifts are located across the entire snow biome.

The location of Rifts typically changes with the start of every new Season, and they should be expected to adjust again when Season 8 s released.
