Completing challenges in Fortnite Season 8 just got a massive change thanks to the addition of ‘Party Assist’ – here’s everything we know about it.
Has there ever been a specific challenge that you need to complete but might have a bit of trouble finishing? Party Assist is now live in Fortnite Season 8 to help speed up the process.
Members of your party will now be able to assist on certain Daily or Weekly challenges that you select prior to entering the game, and their progress will count for you.
For example, if there is a Weekly Challenge which tasks you with getting a certain number of eliminations with a Shotgun but you hate using that weapon class, you can activate Party Assist and have your teammates get kills for you.
It should be noted that Party Assist can only be completed by teammates that you originally squad-up with before entering a match.
Players you match with while selecting ‘Fill’ will not be included in Party Assist, along with teammates from large-team games such as Team Rumble.
Only one challenge can be selected at a time while using Party Assist, however, completing challenges will definitely be a lot easier.
All of the information on Party Assist can be found below from the Fortnite Season 8 Patch Notes.
- Party Assist Added
- Prior to a match, enable Party Assist on a Daily or Weekly challenge to complete it with the assistance of everyone in your party.
- Party members are able to provide progress to the selected challenge in addition to yourself.
- This functionality excludes “fill” players who are added into the party during matchmaking or teammates from large team modes such as Team Rumble.
