If you’re rushing to get the Welcome to Gotham City challenges completed before they expire, this cheat sheet map is exactly what you need.

After lots of leaks revealed that a Batman event was coming to Fortnite, it finally dropped on September 21, adding new skins, items and of course, the Gotham City location.

As with any in-game event, there’s also an exclusive set of challenges, entitled ‘Welcome to Gotham City’, with many Batman-themed activities to get up to.

Some of the challenges are fairly straight-forward, such as ‘Use a Batman Grapnel Gun in different matches’, but others will require some more map knowledge and effort.

That’s where this brilliant cheat sheet map from u/flapjack626 will come in handy – every challenge location and requirement is shown here, so you know exactly where you need to go.

Simply keep this beside you will you grind out the challenges, and you’ll have them completed in no time.

Unfortunately, this map is missing some of the locations for the Joker Gas Canisters, as they also spawn at Sunny Steps and Haunted Hills.

Welcome to Gotham City Challenges

  • Deal damage to opponents with an Explosive Batarang (250)
  • Light up different Bat Signals outside of Gotham City (3)
  • Use a Batman Grapnel Gun in different matches (3)
  • Defuse Joker gas canisters found in different named locations (3)
  • Deal any damage to opponents within 30s of using a Batman Grapnel Gun (1)
  • Light a Bat Signal, use a Batman Grapnel Gun, and deal any damage with an Explosive Batarang (1)

The rewards for completing the challenges are well worth the effort too, with a total of 50 battle stars up for grabs and some unique cosmetics.

The challenges are only available while the event lasts, which is until October 6.

How to collect Floating Rings at Pleasant Park

All Pleasant Park Floating Ring locations for the Fortnite Season 3 Week 4 challenges.

Chapter 2 Season 3 is appraoching the halfway mark – at least, in terms of original scheduling. We’re still in the seasonal grace period where things feel fresh and interesting. Hopefully, Epic keep this feeling going into Season 4.

The week 4 challenges are nearly here, which means it’s time to get those Battle Pass levels up. Most dedicated players should be well past the level 50 mark by the time these challenges are complete.

Most of the Season 3 Week 4 challenges are easy enough to finish without looking for online guides but, as always, Epic have added one challenge that requires some searching: Collect floating Rings at Pleasant Park. Luckily, we have you covered with all of their locations.

At the time of writing, the challenges have yet to release. We see that this particular challenge requires only one ring in the game files, but we’re not sure that this will be the case. We had to find four in Lazy Lake, after all, so it would make sense for us to have to visit all four locations.

The good news about this challenge is that – even if you have to collect all four – the rings are located on the Zipline path surrounding the POI. All you have to do is land at the bottom ring and Zipline your way around Pleasant to collect them all. Here’s a video of randomChievos doing just that.

You can take a look at the rest of the Season 3 Week 4 challenges here, but they’re relatively self-explanatory – nothing that a couple of Team Rumble and normal matches can’t solve. Have fun!

Lazy Lake Floating Ring locations for Fortnite Week 3 challenges

How to collect floating rings at Lazy Lake for the Season 3 Week 3 challenges.

The Fortnite Season 3 Week 3 challenges are here, which means we’re getting closer and closer to unlocking the second half of the Season 3 Battle Pass. Most of the challenges have been relatively easy this season, with only one weekly challenge requiring us to search in a particular area.

Last week we were looking around The Yacht. This week we’re venturing across the map over to Lazy Lake, where we’ll need to collect floating rings.

These four rings are scattered around Lazy Lake, making it difficult to complete this challenge in one shot – at least, if you’re doing it in a regular Battle Royale match.

As always, we recommend opting for Team Rumble. It makes things easier, and you may even be able to finish your eliminations challenge from last week if you haven’t already. Here’s a map of all of the Floating Ring locations at Lazy Lake:

The most obvious ring is located next to the gas station. You should be able to jump on an umbrella to grab it. After that, make your way to the intersection and look on top of the tree. The third ring is in the street at the entrance to Lazy, and the final ring is in between the towers of the No Sweat Insurance building.

Here’s a video from HarryNinetyFour that shows you exactly where you’ll need to visit.

You can take a look at the full list of challenges here, but the rest of them are easy enough to complete on your own. You may be sitting in the cornfield at Frenzy for a while, but that comes with the territory.

Lazy Lake fireworks location for Fortnite Captain America challenge

Published

on

When the Fortnite v13.20 patch released, Epic revealed that they’d be bringing a special hero to the Item Shop for the 4th of July. That hero was later revealed to be none other than Captain America – one of the core Avengers who we never saw during the initial Marvel crossover events.

Captain America is, reportedly, set to hit the Item Shop within the next rotation. He should be available when the Item Shop resets at 8 PM EST on July 2. We’re only hours away from having Cap in our locker, and he’ll probably be one of the most popular skins for the next week.

As you can see, there have already been plenty of official teasers for Captain America, but one of them went under the radar. When the Week 3 Challenges went live, Epic added a daily challenge that requires you to light fireworks around Lazy Lake. These fireworks explode to show the Captain America shield.

There are six firework locations surrounding this POI, but you only need five to complete the challenge. You can easily finish this challenge in a single game of Team Rumble once you know where to look. Here are all of the firework locations.

This challenge rewards players with 14,000 XP as it’s one of the golden daily challenges rather than a weekly challenge. That isn’t a ton of experience, but it’s a healthy reward for a challenge that will only take a few minuted to complete. Now, all that’s left is to see how the new Fortnite Captain America skin looks!
