Bigfoot location in Fortnite Season 5

Find out where to find Bigfoot in Fortnite Season 5 – one of the most difficult NPCs to locate in the entire season.

Fortnite Season 5 bigfoot location

Are you struggling to find the Bigfoot location in Fortnite Season 5? Here’s what you need to do and where you need to go.

Fortnite Season 5 introduced neutral NPCs to the game for the first time. Instead of Marauders and bosses that want to kill you on-sight, these NPCs offer quests, bounties, Gold Bars, and upgrades.

Completionists will want to find all Season 5 NPC locations, which sounds easier than it is. You can find most of the NPCs by traveling the map, but some are more difficult than others.

Certain NPCs can spawn in multiple locations. For instance, Blaze can spawn in two unique locations on the map, making the Dragon’s Breath Sniper one of the rarest weapons in the game.

How to find Bigfoot in Fortnite Season 5

As you might expect, Bigfoot is the most elusive NPC in Fortnite. He can spawn in several locations across the map, meaning locating him is going to be a chore. He also walks around, meaning his spawn location isn’t necessarily where you’ll find him.

The best strategy for finding Bigfoot in Fortnite is to visit Bunker Jonesy at one of his two possible locations. The intel will cost you 100 Gold Bars.

Below is a map of where to find Bunker Jonesy and Bigfoot. We made this map with Fortnite.gg, but it may not include all of the locations.

We’ve seen clips of Bigfoot spawning at the top of the map, but he’s so rare that few players have even found him in the first place.

Fortnite Finding Bigfoot

One tip we have for finding Bigfoot is to place a manual map marker on the clue location. The clue will disappear if you get too far away. Bigfoot walks around, so the map marker will ensure you’re still headed in the right direction.

Even with the clue from Bunker Jonesy, Bigfoot is difficult to catch. When you do find him, he’ll offer you a Zero Point fish for your efforts. It’s not much, but the real reward is locating the most elusive NPC in Fortnite Season 5.

How to go invisible in Fortnite with Predator Cloak Device

Fortnite cloaking device

Predator has arrived in Fortnite Battle Royale just a week after the character’s ship landed on the island, and he’s brought a brand new weapon – or ability – to the fight.

One of the most sought after abilities in Fortnite, pretty much since Day 1, has been finding ways to turn invisible. Out of sight for enemies, and handing yourself a huge advantage.

In the past, this has been achieved with exploits using previously added invisibility items, or just glitches that make players pretty much impossible to take down.

However, a legitimate way of doing that – for a limited time – is now in the game.

How to use Predator’s Cloak device in Fortnite

The first-look footage of the Predator Cloak Device shows that the process of actually using it is quite simple.

As seen below, in a post from HYPEX, all you have to do is activate it once you have stumbled upon one and you’ll instantly turn invisible.

This is not the first item to be added to Fortnite that turns players invisible, with Shadow Stones appearing in the past, though developers will be hoping the rollout of this ability doesn’t turn out to be as glitchy as those that have came before it.

Cloak Device stats

Not only do we know how it works already, but also the stats for it as well. It lasts 30 seconds and requires a cooldown each time of the same amount, seen below from HYPEX again.

Players can activate this, of course, though we’re now aware the NPC Predator can also do it. This is going to make the character slightly harder to defeat than others.

How to get Fortnite Predator Cloak Device

The Predator Device can be obtained by taking down Predator in-game, much like any other boss the game’s added during Season 5.

After visiting Predator’s location and striking the character down, it will drop the following, as well as ammo and Floppers.

That’s it! Now you know how to use the Predator Cloak Device, and it looks like it’s going to be quite tricky to get one in-game – especially if the NPC is using it to escape your gunfire!

How to visit houses in Slurpy Swamp in the same match

One Fortnite Season 5 Week 7 challenge requires players to visit three houses in Slurpy Swamp in the same map. Here’s where to find them.

The Fortnite Season 5 Week 7 challenges are here. Take a look at where to find houses in Slurpy Swamp.

The Week 7 challenges for Fortnite Season 5 are relatively easy when you compare them to last week’s but there are s7till a couple of challenges that require some searching.

One of these has players looking for houses in Slurpy Swamp. At first glance, this challenge seems relatively easy – until you realize that the Slurpy Swamp POI is filled with factories.

This challenge requires you to leave the main POI and move south – more towards the Flush Factory area. Here are six locations that you can visit. Keep in mind, you only need to go to three of them.

As always, Team Rumble will offer you the best chance of success. Not only will you be relatively undisturbed in your search, but the 100% spawn rate of chests in this mode means you’re guaranteed to walk away with some loot.

You could complete this in any mode, as these houses typically offer a safe place to land. You’ll also have the benefit of free shields from the water surrounding Slurpy Swamp.

We have a full guide for all of these challenges here if you need it. We’ll be back next week with guides for the Week 8 challenges as well.

How to earn the free Fortnite Crew emote in Season 5

Epic Games are offering players who sign up for the Fortnite Crew membership a free, exclusive emote for a limited time.

Monthly Crew Pack leaked image

Epic Games is offering players a free emote to go with their Fortnite Crew membership in Fortnite Season 5.

The Fortnite Crew membership is an interesting idea. Players can sign up for the system for $11.99 per month. In return, they receive the Battle Pass, an exclusive cosmetic set, and 1,000 V-Bucks to use as they please.

January 2021 was the second month of the Crew system, and it wasn’t without its speed bumps. Some players logged in on January 1 to see that their Green Arrow skin pack was nowhere to be found.

Even more players had to wait over 2 weeks to receive their V-Bucks for the month. The system is still new, but it’s clear that Epic have some polishing to do.

As a way to throw Fortnite Crew members a bone, Epic are offering a free “Members Only” emote to anyone who signs up for the Crew pack.

You need to sign up for a Fortnite Crew membership and log into Fortnite before February 15. This timing means that non-members can wait and see what the February cosmetic pack holds before committing.

The Crew membership, when it’s working, is a good deal for dedicated Fortnite players who want to get the most bang for their buck. An exclusive skin, pickaxe, back bling, and 1,000 V-Bucks is well worth the $11.99 price tag.

We’ll let you know when we learn more about the February Fortnite Crew pack. Until then, enjoy Season 5.
