Fortnite Season 1 isn’t over just yet, but let’s take a look back with one of the more unique creative ideas we’ve seen.
Last week, Epic confirmed earlier reports that Fortnite Season 2 had been delayed until February 20. The news garnered a collective groan from the entire Fortnite community.
Chapter 2 Season 1 is the longest season in Fortnite history by a mile. When its all said and done, we’ll have played Season 1 over five months, from October to February.
One Fortnite player and artist, myartattic, posted a creative tribute to Season 1 on the r/FortniteBR subreddit. He made two flipbooks of some of the most iconic moments in the season.
The first was the dive heard ’round the world. A Fortnite player tried to recreate the waterfall dive shown in the Season 1 trailer, only to hit the ground below instead of the water. The player was later recognized by Epic Games with a gravestone at his landing site.
The second flipbook is of an older clip but shows one of the trickshots that has become so popular throughout Fortnite history.
Epic employee gstaffEpic even commented on the post, “Flippin’ awesome. Nice work.” The video has over 7,000 upvotes on Reddit at the time of writing.
As we wait patiently for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2, creative clips like this one help us pass the time. At least this artist used his powers for good, unlike the joker who created a fake leak for Season 2.
