September 3’s Fortnite v10.20 content update bought several map changes, and we have broken down everything that was added.

Fortnite’s tenth season has been a bumpy ride so far with BRUTE adjustments and a brief building nerf sending the community into confusion.

Instead of Season 10 receiving a few huge map updates, this season has taken a different approach by implementing smaller updates more frequently. Epic has been able to accomplish this thanks to the addition of Rift Beacons.

Previously the Rift Beacon exploded and demolished the soccer field outside of Pleasant Park and turned the Truck ‘N’ Oasis in the desert into Pandora for a Fortnite x Borderlands crossover.

Players were already hinted that Kevin the Cube might be returning due to leaked loading screens, and v10.20’s content update made that a reality.

Here are all the map changes from September 3’s v10.20 content update.

Kevin the Floating Island

Our favorite mystical cube is back! Kevin can be found floating outside of Fatal Fields.

The last time players saw Kevin was with the Butterfly event in 2018, so we are happy to see our favorite cube friend back in Fortnite! Will Kevin’s return lead towards another Season 10 story development?

Kevin’s Low Gravity Vortex

Players will be able to hop on the floating island by using the Low Gravity Vortex surrounding Kevin.

Instead of landing directly on the island after launching from the Battle Bus, players can use the Vortex to fly on top.

We expect Kevin to be packed with players, so be sure you are locked and loaded if you are going to check out his return.
