6 Marvel heroes we want to see in the Fortnite Season 4 Battle Pass

Our wishlist for the Marvel-themed Fortnite Season 4 Battle Pass and Item Shop.

Published

on

Earlier today, August 21, Epic confirmed rumors of Fortnite Season 4 having a Marvel Comics theme. Since then, we’ve seen additional leaks that point to Thor, Wolverine, Storm, and even a Wolverine/banana meme skin for Peely.

What else will Fortnite Season 4 bring us? With a full theme revolving around Marvel, we have to assume that some heavy-hitters will be included in the Battle Pass. Ahead, we’ll give our top six picks for Season 4 Battle Pass skins. Sure, they won’t all come true, but there’s always the Item Shop.

Spider-Man

Spider-Man is, and always has been, the most popular Marvel hero in the lineup. There isn’t a person alive who doesn’t know who Spider-Man is, and we think he’d make a perfect addition to the next Fortnite season.

There are very few popular male skins within the Fortnite community, since males have larger character models. The only exceptions to this trend are the skinny male skins like the Chaos Agent. Spider-Man is slender in stature, making a popular Fortnite skin more viable.

You may say, “Spider-Man won’t come to Fortnite. The rights are owned by Sony.” This is true, but Sony also has a $250 million stake in Epic Games. Never say never.

Iron Man

Iron Man, like Spider-Man, is one of the most popular Marvel heroes in existence. This wasn’t always the case, however, as Tony Stark only exploded in popularity after he kicked-off the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Alongside Thor and Wolverine, we think Iron Man is the most likely hero to come to the Season 4 Battle Pass. He’s incredibly popular and offers some obvious upgrade potential through his suit.

Marvel Comics

Black Panther

Unless Epic decide to go the route of a specific group of heroes like the X-Men, Black Panther seems like a no-brainer addition to Fortnite Season 4. He’s one of the most popular heroes on the MCU roster and still boasts the record for the highest-grossing solo Marvel movie to date.

In all of the replies we’ve read since Epic confirmed the Marvel theme, Black Panther has to be among the most-requested skin. Let’s see if he enters the Fortnite Battle Pass. If not, we expect an Item Shop addition.

Marvel Comics

Mystique

We’re almost certainly going to have at least one female Marvel skin in the Battle Pass, but who will she be? We already heard rumors about Storm coming to the new season, but will she be the lone female? The most popular female hero is probably Black Widow, and she already has a skin. We think that Mystique would make for a perfect fit for the Battle Pass or Item Shop.

Not only is Mystique extremely popular, but she offers a ton of customization options. She’s a shapeshifter, after all, and could even be a reactive skin that changes throughout the match. A Mystique skin opens the door to a bunch of possibilities.

20th Century Studios

Hulk

Epic have been touting their thicker skins in recent seasons, and Hulk would be the best extension of this. Sure, he might be bigger than Cable in the films and comics, but a Cable and Rippley-sized hulk would be perfect for Fortnite.

The best part of this skin is that Epic could add a Bruce Banner variant as well – even making it reactive in some way. Maybe, when Bruce Banner takes enough damage, he transforms into Hulk. How cool would that be?

Marvel Comics

The Punisher

The Punisher might seem like a random selection, but Marvel fans know that he’d be a perfect fit in the world that Fortnite is building. He’s one of the most popular heroes in the lineup and loves his firepower. He’ll fit in perfectly with Fortnite.

What’s more, The Punisher had frequent run-ins with Deadpool in the Comics. When you combine this with the immense success of the Punisher show on Netflix – possibly, the most successful show in the Marvel/Netflix universe – it makes a lot of sense for Epic to add Frank Castle to the Battle Pass.

Marvel Comics

Obviously, there are a ton of options in terms of Fortnite Marvel skins, which is what makes this seasonal theme so exciting for Marvel fans. As we were writing this article, data miner, Hypex, tweeted that Groot would be coming to the Battle Pass.

Monthly Crew Pack leaked image

Epic Games is offering players a free emote to go with their Fortnite Crew membership in Fortnite Season 5.

The Fortnite Crew membership is an interesting idea. Players can sign up for the system for $11.99 per month. In return, they receive the Battle Pass, an exclusive cosmetic set, and 1,000 V-Bucks to use as they please.

January 2021 was the second month of the Crew system, and it wasn’t without its speed bumps. Some players logged in on January 1 to see that their Green Arrow skin pack was nowhere to be found.

Even more players had to wait over 2 weeks to receive their V-Bucks for the month. The system is still new, but it’s clear that Epic have some polishing to do.

As a way to throw Fortnite Crew members a bone, Epic are offering a free “Members Only” emote to anyone who signs up for the Crew pack.

You need to sign up for a Fortnite Crew membership and log into Fortnite before February 15. This timing means that non-members can wait and see what the February cosmetic pack holds before committing.

The Crew membership, when it’s working, is a good deal for dedicated Fortnite players who want to get the most bang for their buck. An exclusive skin, pickaxe, back bling, and 1,000 V-Bucks is well worth the $11.99 price tag.

We’ll let you know when we learn more about the February Fortnite Crew pack. Until then, enjoy Season 5.

Fortnite Season 5 Week 7 is here. Take a look at all of the challenges and how to complete them.

Fortnite Season 5 is chugging along, but there’s still about two months left. The holiday break extended the latest season, so there’s still plenty of time to make your way through the Battle Pass.

The Week 7 challenges are relatively straightforward, with most of them able to be completed without too much effort.

A couple of these challenges will have you searching the same area in Slurpy Swamp, so a favorable bus path in Team Rumble will allow you to complete them in one shot. Here’s what you’ll need to do.

Fortnite Season 5 Week 7 challenges

The good news in the Week 7 challenges is that all of them can be completed in Team Rumble. We have a separate article detailing the locations of Books in Holly Hedges and Sweaty Sands. You can find that here.

The Legendary challenge requires players to deal damage to opponents in Vehicles. This one is going to be a headache, as there’s no way to force another player to be inside of a car or boat when you shoot them.

Hopefully, you can get into a game of Team Rumble with like-minded enemies – sitting in Motorboats and trading shots with you. If not, it’s going to take some serious gaming to finish this one. Good luck!
