The Guided Missile in Fortnite: Battle Royale has been disabled by Epic Games.
According to the developer, they need to investigate an ‘issue’ with the weapon, which required it to be disabled.
At the time of writing, it is unknown how long the Guided Missile will be out of Fortnite, or the exact nature of the problem associated with it.
The original announcement can be viewed below via Twitter.

Epic Games first introduced the Guided Missile to Fortnite in the V3.4 update. However, following various complaints from community members, it was ‘vaulted’ in V3.5 on April 18.
Over three months later, the Guided Missile was added back to the title after being nerfed, which made it more of a ‘scouting’ tool, rather than an explosive.
We will continue to provide updates as more information is made available on the Guided Missile.
