Upcoming modes and features have been found in the Fortnite Battle Royale Patch v6.01 game files, alongside cosmetics.

LTMs

The Seize 50v50 mode is yet to come to Fortnite Battle Royale, and the Disco Domination LTM should be coming this week to the game. In Disco Domination, you can “Capture and defend Dance Floors around the island using emotes to earn points.”

In Seize 50v50, you may be able to capture flags and take them back to your base – similar to The Getaway event hosted last month, just with two teams.

Features

Playground LTM will be getting more mutators with Patch v6.01. You can change the Fall Damage, Gravity, Starting Health and Shield, Movement Speed, Weapon Damage, and even the time of day. You can also turn off dropping items when a player dies to make a fight fairer.

This seems to be a great boost for those who want to play against or with their team-mates without worrying about succumbing to the classic Battle Royale rules of Fortnite’s popular game-mode.

The patch notes didn’t list Playground as an LTM actually, even if its still under the LTM directory. We’ll have to see when the downtime ends if the “Limited Time Only!” banner still appears over Playground when about to play.
