Epic Games has provided an update on account setting features for cross-platform functions.

The announcement came via Twitter on Wednesday, September 26 after it was announced that PlayStation 4 will be allowing cross-play with other platforms on Fortnite.

An ‘account merging feature’ is set to arrive at some point in November, although no concrete date has been set at the time of writing.

Players will also be able to unlink a console from one Fortnite account and re-link it to a different Fortnite account, which will go live ‘in a few days,’

You can view the full announcement below.

For players who created an extra account to play Fortnite on multiple console platforms, we’re working on two things:

1) An account-merging feature to combine Battle Royale purchases, coming in November.

2) Enabling unlinking a console from one Fortnite account, and relinking to another Fortnite account. Coming in a few days.

More to come.
