Fortnite streamer and Reddit user ‘ImSpeedyGonzales’ has discovered a fascinating strategy to prevent bouncing across Loot Lake in Fortnite Battle Royale.

ImSpeedyGonzales has created an effective strategy for Fortnite players to not have to bounce across the now Cube-possessed version of Loot Lake.

Reasons not to bounce across the lake are obvious – as players cannot aim down the sights while bouncing, and might not want to make their position known to others.

The lake originally turned from water to a bouncy substance when the cube, dubbed “Kevin” by redditors, reached Loot Lake after weeks of roaming the Fortnite Battle Royale map.

On September 19 – when it reached the docks, it then landed into the water with a punch – dissolving into the lake water and turning it into a bouncy, purple substance.

The streamer has created a tactic to not have to suffer from the bounciness of the lake when stepping on top of it.

His technique is to turbo-build a wall, and immediate place a floor on the structure just afterwards in order to stop them bouncing and instead land on their placed build.
Some could suggest just building from the get go, but this allows players to get into a certain part of the lake without building all the way across it.
One commenter suggested using pyramids, but according to Gonzales, it isn’t viable as you can only land on the tip of the pyramid.
