Looks like your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man is swinging into Fortnite, thanks to this player.

A player has modded a Spider-Man player model into the game through replacing an existing skin with it.

The fan, known as “Rivera Tv” on both Twitter and YouTube, bases their channel around doing activities associated with editing the game files.

Rivera uses a technique which replaces meshes inside the game from existing cosmetics to his own custom Fortnite skins.

He showcases this in a tweet where he claims that his method is “not like all these Twitter so called coders who just copy and paste and replace files”.

In the image above, you can see that Rivera replaces the “MED_HIS_Hector” playermodel with, funnily enough, a head of Shrek the Ogre.

However, Rivera has recently added your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man into the game to celebrate the release of both Spider-Man for PlayStation 4 and the Grappler item.

You can watch the video below, in which he grapples around Tilted Towers while building as Spider-Man. The back of the playermodel actually glows, which is very cool.

Hopefully, Rivera releases this model for anyone to add into the game. Obviously, this isn’t an official skin – but we wish it was.

The only tie-in skin added into the game was Thanos from Avengers: Infinity War, and even he wasn’t playable outside of the Infinity Gauntlet LTM.

What do you think? What superheroes would you like to see added into Fortnite, or just character skins in general?
