100 Thieves is bringing one of the biggest names in European pro Fortnite to America by signing MrSavage.
Many Fortnite esports fans were surprised to learn that Martin ‘MrSavage’ Anderson and his organization, NRG, had parted ways. NRG is stacked with top-level Fortnite players like BenjyFishy, EpikWhale, Symfuhny, Zayt, and Edgey.
Most people knew that MrSavage wouldn’t stay unsigned for long. As it turns out, he’s moving to the states to join the growing powerhouse that is 100 Thieves.
The organization announced their signing on February 20, the first day of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2. They had previously teased a new signing in their Cash App Compound video, but not many people saw this one coming.
100 Thieves has been scooping-up Fortnite talent left and right. Their professional roster is strong, but they seem to have been mostly focused on gathering personalities and streamers like CourageJD and BrookeAB. The acquisition of MrSavage shows that they’re also trying to win.
MrSavage was widely considered one of the best Fortnite players in the EU region. He appears to be playing out of the Cash App Compound, so NA-West scrimmers will have to keep their heads on a swivel.
